WHAT THE BEHAVIOR ENTAILS

Being accountable means stepping up and taking responsibility. As a leader, this includes taking responsibility for both your own actions and those of the people you lead. People must take ownership of their actions and responsibilities for organizations to thrive, and leaders specifically must hold themselves and others accountable for key resources (e.g., time & money), and stakeholders (e.g., clients, vendors, regulators, staff, superiors and/or partners).
